• Expand F-35 Rapid Execution of Microelectronics Digital Engineering (REMEDE) Digital Electronics Systems Engineering (DESE) infrastructure to support the DoW enterprise including secure cloud (IL-5) with elastic compute • Acquire and deploy Electronic Design Automation tools, hardware emulation, multi-physics compute, and expert services for program of record use • Construct persistent hybrid repositories for Department of War electronics designs that enable analysis and evaluation of electronic system elements for safety, security, and modernization • Initiate program of record pilots that integrate modern commercial electronic development analysis processes to increase quality of designs, speed modernization of systems and reduce the cost and schedule the integration of new capabilities
FY 2027 increased compared to FY 2026 by 100.000 million due to introducing a new Enterprise Electronics Digital Environment (E2DE) thrust area. Enterprise Electronics Digital Environment will enable rapid and collaborative development of advanced electronics capabilities needed to outpace our adversaries.
