### Project 830 — Transform Analytics Initiative

This program supports the integration of data across multiple sources that currently reside on antiquated and disparate systems. The outcome of this program funding will be a modern, unified analytical platform that supports Department-wide analytic products for informing key resourcing decisions. Outdated systems limit the ability of analysts to perform deep analysis across the broad portfolio of the Department’s programs and prohibit data integration across multiple streams, affecting the efficient responsiveness to decision makers. This new platform will empower the Department to more effectively fuse data across currently stove-piped organizational and functional boundaries, leveraging modern tools and the ongoing data investments of other organizations in the Department to increase the speed and efficiency of cost analyses and funding projections. The development and utilization of advanced software, including the integration of AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), will enhance analytical fidelity, increase the efficiency of data modeling, and be a significant leap forward in analytical capabilities. With more powerful and efficient tools, this program will provide senior Department leaders with the data-driven insights necessary to optimize budgets, identify potential savings, and ensure resources are directed to our most critical national security priorities. Key Fiscal Year 2027 activities include: A) foundational systems engineering analysis to ensure synergies with other Department data efforts, B) replacing the data environment and computing capacity, and C) building and piloting the first tranche of tools and applications.
