DIU will provide fielding support to the COCOMs through collaboration on vital requirements, enabling the rapid delivery of advanced systems that guarantee multi-domain supremacy, the deployment of autonomous platforms to protect our service members, and the accelerated scaling of cost-effective technologies across the joint force.
The increase supports the Secretary of War’s directive to transform the Defense Innovation Ecosystem and accelerate our warfighting advantage. This targeted investment will prioritize commercial capabilities that deliver immediate results by empowering DIU to execute critical strategic priorities. Through direct collaboration with COCOMs on operational requirements, this request guarantees DIU's ability to deliver advanced systems that ensure multi-domain supremacy, prioritize autonomous platforms to safeguard our service members from kinetic threats, and accelerate the enterprise-wide integration of affordable technologies.
