## What the FY2027 request buys

**FY2026 plans — current year.** - Continue business process transformation, compliance, enhancements, and integration with other systems using agile incremental releases. - Continue configuration of commercial platform to provide foundational logistics capability. - Conduct recurring cyber security and system performance testing concurrent with configuration. - Finalize and deploy Foundational Logistics Information Technology Enterprise System (FLITES) 1.2 with provisioning capabilities fully replacing unsupportable 50 year old item management system. - Continue and complete Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS) efforts for data transformation, increased cyber security, and Defense Logistics Management Standards (DLMS) and Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) compliance. - Begin development of Item Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). - Begin development of cataloging inputs and interfaces with DLMS. - Continue efforts to meet Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) and FIAR compliance. - FLITES will replace Item Management Control System (IMCS) capabilities in FY 2026.
