## What the FY2027 request buys

**FY2027 planned work.** Complete the program's first spiral development with the delivery of a Minimally Viable Product simulation. Conduct the test and evaluation of the first version of the software. Continue the requirement collection for subsequent spirals.

**FY2026 to FY2027 change.** Increase due to FY27 activities. FY27 funding increase integrates the Next Gen Campaign modeling environment with the WarMatrix wargaming tool, completing one of the three OSW Next Gen Campaign tool suite initiatives.

**FY2026 plans — current year.** Fund civilian positions for PMO office. Develop and approve acquisition strategy aligned with OSW goals and objectives. Complete the requirements collection for the first spiral of software development and start collecting requirements for the second spiral. Award a contract to a system integrator to begin development activities. Enhance the unclassified agile software development environment on the Joint Modeling, Simulation and Analytics Gateway.
