Project 646017, Space Systems Command (SSC) Developmental Information Technology Infrastructure (DITI) provides support to enterprise cybersecurity integration, cyber capability development, and vulnerability management across SSC program offices. The project provides program offices support through Authorizing Official (AO) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) cyber assessment team, Zero Trust (ZT), cryptography program alignment, data and information availability, Program Protection, supply chain risk management capabilities, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and secure software management. DITI develops and implements cybersecurity tools, processes and policies through multiple efforts. Key efforts include: Authorization to Operate (ATO), development of ZT strategies and architectures for legacy and future space systems; building a central repository to track cryptography requirements and associated risks; and synthesizing cybersecurity regulations and directives to improve standardization across mission sets. Project's efforts focus on developmental cybersecurity and support generation and alignment of cybersecurity policy and guidance, cyber resiliency capability development, vulnerability management, data accessibility with automation, and program protection. DITI helps assess technical risks that operational users experience in SSC program offices or encounter by understanding the System and Enterprise-level risks posed by threats based on deployment and gathered feedback across SSC. Cybersecurity regulation and directives are synthesized, deconstructed, and applied to best determine implementation and standardization across various functions and mission sets. Capability development efforts include implementation of DoW cybersecurity policies and guidance such as DoW's Cyber Strategy, ZT Strategy, and capabilities. This includes efforts for enabling ZT capabilities in Space Systems and implementation of SSC ZT Guidance and Policy via pilot programs for both legacy and future ground and space systems in accordance with Executive Order 14028, "Improving the Nation's Cybersecurity,”, which requires federal agencies to establish plans to drive adoption of ZT Architecture. The projects pursued for ZT keeps pace with increasing cyber threats to modernize existing infrastructure into SSC programs for mitigation against existing and future vulnerabilities.

### SSC Developmental IT Infrastructure

**FY2026 to FY2027 change.** Decreased due to transition of SSC Developmental IT Infrastructure Project 646017 Program Element 1207804SF (Acquisition and Management Support (Space)) in the 3410, Operation and Maintenance, Space Force appropriation.

**FY2026 plans — current year.** Continue to evolve information accessibility and authentication capabilities on AI decision aids and automation to make effective decisions in an evolving complicated environment and reduce cognitive load to increase resiliency in the space warfighter ecosystem through pilots and emerging applications. Information Dominance will explore existing authentication capabilities across various systems and security levels to provide access to necessary data and enable better decision support for disaggregation and unification in the Space Force. Cryptography will continue to build and maintain its central repository to track all crypto requirements to identify gaps, program risks, mitigation plans, and status tracking for all stakeholders. Cryptography will take a phased approach to develop the central repository to populate and collect all crypto systems within SSC for more available and shared protocols. The key management model, resource mappings, and guidance will improve and streamline SSC programs and other organizations requirements collection and reporting through the Department of Air Force (DAF) Crypto and other higher headquarters. The Software and IT effort will continue to deliver and identify authorized cloud-based environments and expand digital mobility programs, providing more flexible, modernized, and capable IT mechanisms for the workforce to enable and propel mission success. A software management system will continue to be researched to foster superior software development and drive adoption for DevSecOps, accelerating program schedules and reducing security risk to space assets. The risk and configuration software management system will be enhanced, and AI enterprise capability will continue to be expanded. The Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) infrastructure will be deployed and continued to be enhanced to support more use-cases across the enterprise to standardize and accelerate adoption of generative AI and large language models. Continue to furnish internal management of program requirements, funding, contract actions, and PM support/training in relations to Software and IT. Rapidly respond to implement system resiliency and situational awareness necessary to operate in the contested space domain. Activities may include, but are not limited to program office support, studies, technical analysis, experimentation, risk reduction, prototyping, and activities that may leverage commercial, U.S. Government partnership, and international opportunities to respond to existing and emerging adversarial threats with speed and agility.
