### USSF Integrated Operations Networking (ION)

**FY2026 to FY2027 change.** FY 2027 decreased due to Integrated Operations Networking (ION) Project 646602 transition to PE 1203156SF, Project 673945.

**FY2026 plans — current year.** FY 2026 efforts will continue to scale and accelerate classified cloud infrastructure expansion in anticipation of projected threat timelines and expand on the pathfinder implementation to connect disparate, classified space capabilities with an integrated, resilient data transport network. Expands integration of a secure, reliable, and multi-classification transport layer to include Command and Control (C2) nodes and incorporates connectivity to the National Space Test and Training Complex (NSTTC) into the existing classified kill web. Improve classified communications resiliency, integrate development activities, and expand advanced training and testing opportunities using test & training data sources to improve Space Force's ability to protect and defend high-priority space missions. Rapidly respond to implement system resiliency and situational awareness necessary to operate in the contested space domain. Activities may include, but are not limited to program office support, studies, technical analysis, experimentation, risk reduction, prototyping, and activities that may leverage commercial, U.S. Government partnership, and international opportunities to respond to existing and emerging adversarial threats with speed and agility.
