## What the FY2027 request buys

**FY2027 planned work.** Continue Global Sensor Watch (GSW) efforts including: -Expand development and deployment of MACHINA delivering operator-on-the-loop capability and user restrictions with commercial, allied, and DoW SDA capabilities for automated sensor orchestration and integration with operational C2 (Space C2, Integrated Sensor Support Services (IS3), MDA, etc). -Continue development and fielding of new responsive SDA capabilities to support dynamic space vehicle operations. -Mature, continue to integrate, and field new sensing concepts to close geographic or phenomenological gaps in the Space Surveillance Network (SSN) -Begin transition of TAPOUT from a developmental network to a program of record called Wolf Alpha for a government-owned mission application layer and provide a permanent government cloud service network. This will include cyber accreditation for an authority to operate (ATO) to support cross-domain solutions to improve DoW data flows. -Battlespace Intelligence (BI) will identify opportunities or alternatives to provide a USSF-centric Distributed Common Ground System to serve as the force's primary space intelligence, targeting, collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination system. Initiate pre-acquisition activities for future PoR (Space Intelligence Enterprise Systems (SpIES). -BI will assess and improve opportunities regarding current space intelligence architecture, data flows, and data platforms to include sensor data integration for IC, SSN, commercial and allied sensors in providing enhanced decision-making capabilities and kill-chain closures. -Rapidly respond to implement system resiliency and situational awareness necessary to operate in the contested space domain. Activities may include, but are not limited to program office support, studies, technical analysis, experimentation, risk reduction, prototyping, and activities that may leverage commercial, U.S. Government partnership, and international opportunities to respond to existing and emerging adversarial threats with speed and agility.

**FY2026 plans — current year.** Complete investments in GSW Sensor Communication Upgrades (SCU) and Missile Defense Agency (MDA) integration for the remaining assets and capabilities, in support of the USSPACECOM funded Project Lighthouse (LH1 & LH2) including: -Complete investment for integration of radar sites: Eglin Radar, 2 Upgraded Early Warning Radars (UEWR), Millstone Radar Site Massachusetts; and Reagan Test Site assets (Space Fence, Millimeter Wave (MMW) Radar, ARPA Lincoln C-Band Observables Radar (ALCOR), Haystack Ultrawideband Satellite Imaging Radar (HUSIR), and the Haystack Auxiliary (HAX) Radar with other characterization and operational intelligence capabilities. -Complete Ground Based Radar-Kwajalein radome work and sensor array development. -Continue efforts toward 5 sites: DARC Site 1, COBRA DANE, GEODSS, Ascension, and REDLAN, as sites are available. -Vet new SDA capability deliveries and concepts of operations for optimizing legacy SDA sensor operations via other USSPACECOM operations and test activities. -Expand to additional SSN sites, mesh network for essential SCU communications and resilient data transport capability. -Expand deployment of Al-prototype MACHINA integration with commercial, allied, and DoW SDA capabilities for automated sensor orchestration and integration with operational C2 (Space C2, Integrated Sensor Support Services (IS3), MDA, etc). -Mature prototyping and initial operationalization of Optical Cued Radar Search (OCRS) and automated radar imagery exposure and exploitation, tracked as part of the USSPACECOM "Zulu Wookie” needs. -Continue tip-and-cue software and launch custody and high-rate revisit capabilities at Millimeter Wave (MMW) Radar, ARPA Lincoln C-Band Observables Radar (ALCOR), Haystack Ultrawideband Satellite Imaging Radar (HUSIR), Haystack Auxiliary (HAX) and ALTAIR radars. Continue Global Sensor Watch (GSW) efforts including: -Development and operational test and evaluation of MACHINA to autonomously close time-dominant sensing gaps in support of the co-orbital and direct ascent Geosynchronous (GEO) Anti-Satellite (ASAT) Kill Chains. Complete integration with Space C2 systems Integrated Sensor Support Services (IS3) and Advanced Tracking and Launch Analysis System (ATLAS). -Field MACHINA to SpOC Delta 2 operators, conduct experimentation to enable tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) development, and initiate Operational Acceptance testing. -Develop and field new responsive SDA capabilities to support dynamic space vehicle operations. -Expand non-traditional, allied, and commercial sensor integration, including high-to-low sensor task offloading to release operational SDA assets for space warfighting missions. -Develop, integrate, and field new sensing concepts to close geographic or phenomenological gaps in the Space Surveillance Network (SSN). Rapidly respond to implement system resiliency and situational awareness necessary to operate in the contested space domain. Activities may include, but are not limited to program office support, studies, technical analysis, experimentation, risk reduction, prototyping, and activities that may leverage commercial, U.S. Government partnership, and international opportunities to respond to existing and emerging adversarial threats with speed and agility. In FY26, a sum total of 3.446M was erroneously programmed between the five projects in this program element. This includes Congressional marks of -5.353M for "Space Data Fusion previously funded” and -5.622M for "Space Domain Awareness mesh network insufficient justification” as well as Congressional adds for 3.0M "AI satellite health monitoring” and 7.50M for "Collaborative sensor network.” In the year of execution, funding will be realigned internally to properly represent the Congressional marks, adds and SBIR/STTR reductions in their correct projects. Project 673940, Space Data Fusion will be increased by 4.095M to total 57.162M; project 673941, Unified Data Library will be decreased by 0.703M to total 41.533M; Project 673942, JCO will be decreased by 0.438M to total 33.250M; and Project 67A018, Space Based Environmental Monitoring will be decreased by 0.052M to total 2.992M.
