## What the FY2027 request buys

**FY2027 planned work.** Finalize work on the FORGE Command and Control (FC2) prototype to integrate Mission Management, Ground Resource Control Management, and user interface software. Develop and integrate Next Generation GEO (NGG) and legacy SBIRS Mission Unique Software (MUS) and Mission Unique Applications (MUA) in FY 2027.

**FY2026 to FY2027 change.** The budget for this activity increases in FY2027 due to a significant expansion in development and integration efforts. The funding for FY2027 is required for the full development and integration of the Next Generation GEO (NGG) and legacy SBIRS Mission Unique Software (MUS) and Mission Unique Applications (MUA) into the FORGE baseline.

## Before the request year

**FY2026 plans — current year.** Continue work on the FORGE Command and Control (FC2) prototype to integrate the Mission Management, Ground Resource Control Management, and user interface software. Depending on the maturity of the prototype and performance of the contractor there is an option to develop and integrate legacy Space-Based InfraRed system (SBIRS) Mission Unique Software (MUS) in FY 2026.
