This Project (PS1) advances fundamental scientific knowledge in physical science areas that include chemistry, physics, materials science, environmental science, and nanotechnology that could potentially lead to transformational chemical and biological (CB) defensive capabilities enhancing warfighter performance and safety. This project is a key enabler supporting the Understand, Protect, and Mitigate portfolios.
