What project CE9 buys

Improve defeat of imprecisely located and relocated/moving targets by leveraging and advancing component technologies in armament technologies (multi-mode g-hardened seekers for cross spectrum targeting, advanced guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) and in-flight update technologies). Work in this project complements PE 0602141A (Lethality Technology) / Project AH9 (Advanced Warheads Technology) and PE 0602147A (Long Range Precision Fires Technology) / Project AG4 (Extended Range Artillery Munition Suite Technology) and Project BN5 (Fuze and Power for Munitions). Work in this project is performed by the Armaments Center (AC).

Funding trajectory

Project CE9 funding, FY2025–FY2031

Prior years are actuals, the budget year is the request, and the outyears are the FYDP plan. Estimate types are colored and never summed into one figure. Projects carry the full five-year plan; the activities inside them stop at the budget year.

Inside the project

5 accomplishments / planned programs

The R-2A exhibit — the only level of the budget that describes work that has not happened yet. Activities carry the prior, current and budget year only, no five-year plan. Coverage is partial across the corpus, so count activities, never total them.
