What the FY2027 request buys

LSV-2: Continue to maintain certified LSV-2 for operations in support of RDT&E customers, the ONR/NAVSEA Multi-Material Propellor Prototype Future Naval Capability (M2P2 FNC), DARPA and any other emergent testing as required by future sub tech, VIRGINIA, or COLUMBIA programs. ISMS: Operate and maintain ISMS acoustic test range underwater and shore-based facilities. Continue ongoing routine system maintenance, refurbishment, and replacements on ISMS. Continue support of structural acoustics, target strength and radiated noise measurements in support of COLUMBIA, VIRGINIA, future sub tech, ONR, towed arrays, and other fleet needs. HGMS: Operate and maintain acoustic test range underwater and shore-based facilities in support of highly accurate acoustic data from LSV-2 and other measurement operations; continue installation of replacement components as part of critical component mid-life major maintenance during non-testing periods. ARD Ranges Recapitalization: Complete design, engineering work, material procurements for ISMS and HGMS support infrastructure in support of component installations and system refurbishments Continue Target Model Hauldown (TMH) system replacement and power cable installation. STAFAC Recapitalization: Begin scheduled deployment/installation of STAFAC array, mooring and power/data cabling. Finalize system test plans. Conduct system validation and at-sea sensor calibration using calibrated source and develop test plans/range operating procedures for initial submarine trials.

HGMS: Operate and maintain HGMS acoustic test range underwater and shore-based facilities in support of highly accurate acoustic data from LSV-2 operations; begin installation of replacement components as part of critical component mid-life major maintenance. ARD Ranges Recapitalization: Continue detailed system design and engineering work, continue long-lead materiel procurements for ISMS and HGMS sub-systems and submerged support infrastructure; initial component installations, and component installs-of-opportunity. Begin Target Model Hauldown (TMH) System replacement and TMH power cable installation. STAFAC Recapitalization: Complete production, system integration and lab/shore-based integration testing. Prepare for at-sea deployment/installation of STAFAC array, mooring and power/data cabling. Develop supporting component and system test plans.
