FY2027 planned work Deep Sea Expeditionary with No Decompression (DSEND) This FNC was selected and is being accelerated to start in 6.3 due to technology maturation. in 6.3 DSEND will: - Initiate research to incorporate articulating joints into the legs and knees of DSEND suit to enhance leg flexibility. - Initiate research to reduce DSEND suit displacement while increasing form factor fit to optimize diver performance and dexterity. - Initiate in-water testing for 50-foot rated prototype suit and pressure testing for 600+ foot rated joint prototypes.

FY2026 plans — current year Long-Range Over the Horizon (OTH) Communications at High Frequency (HF) Using a Nested, Electronically-Steered System (LOCH NESS) - Complete HF multifunction architecture development for greater resiliency. - Complete waveform design and beam forming/nulling with advanced algorithms and M&S validation. - Complete prototype development with pacing demonstration of capabilities. - Complete final design review with stakeholders.
