- Define and begin implementation of governance required to develop, employ and sustain the cloud-based Digital M&S capability. - Establish initial digital framework and simulation environment capability as a baseline for performance assessment. - Begin refactoring legacy Frameworks, Core Truth Models and element M&S representations into micro-service structured and containerized capabilities in the Cloud environment. - Initiate development of Element models/representations for inclusion in the cloud-based M&S Enterprise Simulation. - Initiate modifications of threat modeling capabilities in support of future missile defense architectures in the Cloud. - Initiate development and begin integration of M&S framework, representations of new architecture participants, and Core Truth Models required for software integration, test and assessment in the Cloud. - Initiate development and begin implementation of Data Management, Analysis Support, configuration management, and run-execution applications to enable Digital M&S capabilities in the Cloud. - Conduct initial integration and test events in the Cloud to support missile defense capability deliveries and verify the performance of the initial Digital M&S capability.
Increase from FY 2026 to FY 2027 provides for development of a cloud-based Digital M&S capability to support rapid development, integration, test, and assessment of complex future missile defense architectures.
