What the FY2027 request buys

- Installation of the resilient network communications infrastructure for the Guam Defense System Early Operational Capability, including secure fiber optic and Defense Red Switch Network connectivity to Missile Defense System sites. - Develop and purchase Knowledge Wall equipment for integration into the Guam Command Center. - Develop and purchase C2BMC Mission Node equipment, including but not limited to rack hardware for the Mission Suite, Mission Node Gateway, Guam Management Node, and External User Support Suite and Gateway.
The $23.255 million Pacific Deterrence Initiative increase from FY 2026 to FY 2027 provides additional infrastructure and equipment critical for timely delivery of Guam Defense System Increment 1 Early Operational Capability and efforts supporting Guam Defense System Increment 2 Initial Operational Capability as part of the Department's PDI investments in the Indo-Pacific region and Guam Defense.
