Complete Developmental Test and Verification static fire testing, conduct an In Process Review (IPR) to establish the initial product design and begin qualification and insensitive munitions testing at the rocket motor level. Complete the Ballistic Test Vehicle -2 design and execute live fire to demonstrate the qualified rocket motor design in a flight test environment.
The decrease results in reduced rocket motor qualification requirements and a de-scoping of the Ballistic Test Vehicle 2 (BTV-2) flight test.
