What the FY2027 request buys

As the NAVY lead for CSSN Project the NIFC team will execute Joint TrackExs and two Live Fire Events in FY27 in conjunction with ARMY and MDA. Test events to occur at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) late FY27.
The Integration and Test IPT increased from $10.906 to $17.218 The $6.312M increase from FY26 to FY27 is for a Joint TrackEx and two live fire test events scheduled in FY27 at White Sands Missile Range for the CSSN Project. This is an OSW sponsored project with MDA, Army and Navy participation with the Navy / NIFC Team performing as the lead service.

Execute Test Events in FY26: Capability Demonstration (CD) TrackEx (Non-Fire) as part of Combat Systems Ship Qualification Trials (CSSQT). Test planning and test integration events (Pillar and Pair/Tri wise testing in accordance with the NIFC System Engineering Plan (SEP), for Naval Integrated Fire Control - Advanced Waveform (NIFC-AW) Live Fire event in coordination with USMC to be conducted in FY27 (Currently not funded). Test planning and integration events, working group coordination for Land Based Live Fire in cooperation with the Army for Joint TrackEx and live fire events in FY27 (Cross Service Sensor Netting (CSSN) project).
