Procure (V)3 EDM and begin Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) development for the AN/SPN-50(V)3 to address component obsolescence; the (V)2 is no longer procurable after FY27. The (V)3 ECP will replace obsolete parts and integrate modern software solutions that enhance performance and interoperability with other systems. ECP will also continue development to mitigate evolving cyber vulnerabilities, paramount to safeguard the AN/SPN-50 from increasingly sophisticated threats, protecting sensitive data and maintaining operational integrity. The (V)3 ECP is vital for maintaining operational readiness, addressing new technological advancements, and ensuring the long-term effectiveness of the system for its intended lifespan.
FY27 funding increase is to begin development for the AN/SPN-50(V)3 and procure 1 EDM.
