AEDC FY 2027 Budget Year plans include mechanical asset sustainment for 16T/4T, 16S, and HPA test facilities; tunnel 9 preventative maintenance; turbine mechanical and electrical maintenance; bus duct system repair; and B-Exhaust Plant Discharge Duct Asbestos Abatement and Leak Repair. Begin infrastructure projects to support Long Range Kill Web capability development.
Funding increased $159.400 million due to real property appropriation corrections, internal reprioritization, and funding adds to develop Long Range Kill Chain test capabilities.

For FY 2026 Current Year, AEDC is performing calendar-based scheduled preventative maintenance on Engine Test Facilities and associated engine test cells, Propulsion Wind Tunnel (PWT) and associated wind tunnels, Von Karman Facility (VKF) Plant Core and associated test cells, arc heaters, rocket test facility, space chambers, and hypersonic engine test facilities, along with associated infrastructure that supports all test operations.
