The Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) Fielding project supports the agile research, development, test and evaluation, procurement, production, modification, and operation and maintenance requirements, including the initial acquisition of end-items for operational use, associated with the fielding of Software and Digital Technology Pilot programs.
