Procure long lead equipment for EWS-G Remote Ground Station (RGS) in Western Australia to include high data rate mission data antennas. Begin engineering and integration design work for EWS-G RGS upgrade. Award multiple concept design contracts for Commercial GEO EO/IR capabilities through System Readiness Review-level maturity and award multiple follow-on design contracts through Critical Design Review level maturity. Award rapid prototype contracts for at least one Commercial GEO EO/IR vendor. Initiate commercial GEO EO/IR rapid prototype contract long lead parts procurement.
FY 2027 increase due to EWS-G remote ground station upgrade, commercial GEO EO/IR contract award, complete System Requirements Review and initiate long-lead commercial spacecraft and payload procurements.
