What the FY2027 request buys

• Leverage MARS software development kits to build software to interface with the published Application Programming Interfaces. • Map current GCCS-J data fields taken from MIDB to analogous MARS data fields. • Develop software to accommodate MARS data fields that do not exist in MIDB. • Establish and test initial connectivity with MARS to allow the receipt of data into GCCS-J. • Establish a write capability from GCCS-J back into MARS. • Field a version of GCCS-J software that will allow the user community to access the richer MARS data
The increase of +$16.000 million from FY 2026 to FY 2027 is required to rapidly develop and deploy a GCCS-J software version capable of exchanging data with the Machine-assisted Analytic Rapid-repository System (MARS) being fielded by the DIA. DISA must replace connections to the sunsetting Military Intelligence Integrated Database (MIDB) in time to allow the user community to migrate prior to March 2028.
