Intelligence Mission Data efforts in BPAC 675306 fund RDT&E to enable Advanced Non-cooperative Target Recognition [NCTR] collection, Operational Reconnaissance and traditional ELINT capabilities, advanced all-source analysis and production of IMD across EWIR, C&P, M&S, and Signatures to inform acquisition efforts, enable combat ID and ensure survivability for air superiority and global strike platforms. Support to the Acquisition Intelligence Joint Integration Cell (Acq Intel-JIC). The JIC acts as a catalyst in the digital transformation of the Acq Intel Mission area and community, conducting research and development to enable the connection of Technical Intelligence Data to Acquisition Processes by integrating data, software, technology, and approaches to support DoD Acquisition Intelligence and Acquisition programs facilitating DoD system's lethality and survivability. This program is in Budget Activity 7, Operational System Development because this budget activity includes development efforts to upgrade systems that have been fielded or have received approval for full rate production and anticipate production funding in the current or subsequent fiscal year.
FY2027 planned work Continued development of tools and process to enhance the availability of IMD products, enable machine communication, expand, and integrate new functional areas, automate threat weapon system models, and modernize NASIC cross-domain solutions for intelligence data dissemination.

FY2026 plans — current year Continued development of tools and process to enhance the availability of IMD products, enable machine communication, expand, and integrate new functional areas, automate threat weapon system models, and modernize NASIC cross-domain solutions for intelligence data dissemination Congress directed the increase of FY26 (+15.000M) for Model-Based Systems Engineering of Threat Systems and scenarios. This is in support of the drive to continued development, training, and cross discipline growth between defense stakeholders to assist the transition to Model Based Systems Engineering. The project will strengthen the talent pipeline needed for increasingly complex defense challenges. This also…
