- Complete iterative GMD Integration and Development Execution (GIDE) points to integrate hardware and software between the Ground Systems and Next Generation Interceptor (NGI). - Deliver NGI HWIL to GMD Integration Lab. - Initiate silo modifications to support initial NGI Flight Test. - Initiate firmware development for hardware modernization, ensuring compliance with the Department of War (DoW) compliance directives. - Complete fire control software development to incorporate Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) changes, including BMD System Track, backwards compatibility, and Interface Extensible Markup Language. - Initiate development of upgrades to the CSM and GCN to mitigate obsolescence and improve cyber defense and compliance with NIST 800.53. - Increase to MBSE to create initial GS models. - Initiate operational capabilities of the FGACC providing diverse communications at the Missile Defense Complex.
Increase from FY 2026 to FY 2027 provides: - Advanced hardware and software design development for GFC, GSS, and PA-IDT to enable mixed-fleet operations with both Ground Based Interceptors and Next Generation Interceptors. - Development and testing of an integrated GNI that provides a common secure platform across all Ground Systems components, improves real-time cyber integration, and improves the operator's ability to detect and respond to cyber events and implements Development Security Operations (DevSecOps). - Initiate hardware updates to implement new DoW compliance directives, enhancing network cybersecurity protections. - Software updates to enable upgrades to C2BMC including BMD System Track, backwards compatibility, and Interface Extensible Markup Language. - Initiation development of upgrades to the CSM and GCN to mitigate obsolescence and improve cyber defense and compliance with NIST 800.53. - Increase to MBSE to create initial GS models. - Initiation of operational capabilities of the FGACC providing diverse communications at the Missile Defense Complex.
