FY2027 planned work Under this program the DoW will continue to make available commercial unmanned systems and components for DoW procurement and operations that are safe, secure, interoperable, and effective on the modern battlefield. In FY 2027 this effort will focus on maintaining the ability to certify unmanned systems and components as cyber secure and not prohibited by law as directed by the Secretary of War's memorandum on Unleashing Drone Dominance dated July 10, 2025. FY2027 planned work Under this program the DoW will continue to advance its access and integration of unmanned systems into military and civilian environments in a safe and effective manner. In FY 2027 this effort will pursue the following objectives: (1) expand short and mid-range live UXS cargo delivery operations to multiple locations across the U.S. to meet the intent of Executive Order 14307 of replacing manned programs with more effective unmanned capabilities, (2) update UXS access and integration technologies and concepts to ensure the DoW is employing the latest capabilities, (3) expand the Department’s UAS traffic management system to multiple airfields within each Military Service in preparation for…
