FY 2026 to FY 2027 increase in the amount of $2.699M is due to moving to more complex at-sea Supersonic MSLEX tests against threat representative Anti-Ship Cruise Missiles in live end-to-end scenarios vice the primarily land based testing conducted in FY 26. These At-Sea events include threat payloads, target presentation build up, and Self Defense Test Ship (SDTS) usage increase the costs for at-sea testing, these costs are not part of testing in a land-based environment.
