Continue software development work for ICADS 7, finalize test planning, and start formal test campaign. The development activities are a continuation of planned contractor iteration reviews and deliveries of hardware and software. Additional system integration and checkout is also planned during this time in order to support testing and ensure final system delivery is operationally ready. This period includes any remaining test planning work needed to support upcoming activities. Formal Government test will also start in FY 2027 for Developmental Test (DT).

FY2026: the year under way

Continue ICADS 7 development during the EMD phase, including closeout of CDR action items. Maintain development of new cryptographic NDU along with preparation for certification of the devices. Program will focus on completing software development and begin efforts towards integration and preliminary system level testing. Deliver hardware to support the USNDS payloads on GPS IIIF SVs, continued systems engineering and test planning for GPS IIIF Mission Readiness Campaign, GPS IIIF Early Integration to include signal verification/data processing, on-orbit USNDS sensor integration, and Functional Configuration Audit/Physical Configuration Audit. Ensure commonality across ICADS testbeds and planned ICADS 7 operational systems, ground modifications to USNDS sensor payload command plans for GPS IIIF. Rapidly respond to implement system resiliency and situational awareness necessary to operate in the contested space domain. Activities may include, but are not limited to program office support, studies, technical analysis, experimentation, prototyping, and activities that may leverage commercial and international opportunities.
