-Exploit existing and future National, global, and Non-Traditional systems in air, space and cyber domains for operational and tactical applications by rapidly prototyping and providing capability demonstrations. The program consists of multiple small projects supporting the Space Force warfighter. Projects are designed to transition to warfighters or national intelligence agencies for operational use and to appropriate acquisition Programs of Record for sustainment and further development. SF TENCAP projects influence the design and operation of current and future National, global, and Non-Traditional systems in air, space, and cyber while providing Space Domain Awareness and Offensive and Defensive Space Control capabilities to warfighters and intelligence organizations. -SF TENCAP requirements and existing resources may be rapidly re-prioritized in response to emerging warfighter needs.
FY 2027 funding increased due to addition of Space Force TENCAP in this Program Element. Efforts were previously funded in Research, Development, Test and Evaluation, Air Force Program Element 0207247F (AF TENCAP).
