Joint Service Provider (JSP) provides mobile classified computing and communications platforms technology test and development for the immediate Office of the Secretary of War, enabling secured computing at residence, temporary and mobile locations around the world. JSP also encompasses the Secretary of War Communications Office (SECWARCOMS). SECWARCOMS provides the Secretary of War resilient communication and situational awareness capabilities, which enable the Secretary of War and Immediate Office to coordinate national defense, in every circumstance.

Mission & acquisition strategy

The Joint Service Provider (JSP) is the exclusive Information Technology (IT) service provider for the Pentagon Reservation and National Capital Region (NCR), serving a wide variety of Department of War (DoW) personnel. The JSP provides office automation tools, critical software, and IT support services for over 55,000 customers. RDT&E funding provides for the testing, piloting, and development of new integrated business technologies to enhance the JSP’s business processes, IT services, and capabilities.
