Will continue to develop and prototype capabilities supporting the maturation of weapon systems, including long-range precision fires, with advancements in energetics, warheads, propulsion, and guidance technology. Specific plans include the continued development and integration of an enhanced seeker for the Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) to improve targeting accuracy and expand engagement capabilities. Additionally, work will focus on prototyping new direct fire munition capabilities to address emerging threats and enhance lethality across diverse operational scenarios
Funds were increased to support the expanded scope of prototyping efforts.
