What the FY2027 request buys

Will focus on designing and developing an advanced multifunction sensor capability for aircraft, enabling users to gather critical intelligence in a single pass while significantly reducing operational costs and improving mission efficiency. In addition, ground-based sensors will be designed, developed, and tested alongside an integrated intelligence network architecture to monitor, analyze, and fuse sensor data for real-time situational awareness. These advancements will enhance the ability to detect, track, and respond to emerging threats across multiple domains, ensuring operational superiority in contested environments.
Funds were increased to support the expanded scope of prototyping efforts.
