The Space Systems Command (SSC) Systems Delta (SYD)/85 Battle Management (BMN) Program Office is developing the Missile Warning/Missile Track Enhancement Program (MW/MT) (Project 67A051) for Guardians across the Command-and-Control Enterprise Mission Area, Operations Service Institutional Function, and Operations Commands Unit Force Structure. As a result, the Service will experience improved readiness and operational reach of the Existing Force Structure and reinforce the Enduring Effect of resilient infrastructure, equipment, and personnel. SYD 85/S9/10 is executing AN/USQ-249 Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) System of Systems Integration for Guardians and Joint Warfighters across the Global Mission Operations and ITW/AA Enterprise Command and Control functions and in support of Space Domain Awareness. As a result, the Service will streamline capabilities development through institutional processes and deliver ITW/AA capabilities to defend the homeland. Efforts will advance all near term effects and provide principled public servants and space-minded warfighters as bold and collaborative problem solvers in support of Service and National goals. This program falls within the Missile Warning and Missile Tracking (MW/MT) mission area which provides the multi-orbit space and ground architecture required to detect and track missiles and hypersonic glide vehicles worldwide. Program interdependencies include: Ballistic Missile Defense Radars (1203873SF); Ballistic Missile EW Systems (1203909SF); Joint Tactical Ground System (1208053SF); Cheyenne Mountain Complex (NCMC) - TW/AA System (1203906SF); Next - Generation OPIR (1206442SF); Next - Generation - GEO (1206443SF); Next - Generation - Ground (1206440SF); Next - Generation - Polar (1206444SF); NUDET Detection System (1203913SF); Resilient MW / MT - LEO (1206446SF); Resilient MW / MT - MEO (1206447SF); Resilient MW / MT - Ground (1206448SF); Shared Early Warning (1203699SF); SLBM Radar Warning System (1203912SF); Space Based Infrared System (1203915SF); TW/AA Interface Network (1203908SF).

Mission & acquisition strategy

MW/MT Enhancement effort is a competitive single task order awarded in 4th Quarter FY 2024 and projected to award additional options between 4th Quarter FY 2025 and 2nd Quarter FY 2028 when appropriate for the next phases of integration, testing, and deployment.
