- LOGIT is a portfolio of programs enabling the DAF logistics enterprise including aircraft maintenance, base-level supply operations, and the authoritative source for all DAF items for aircraft and vehicles. The DAF logistics enterprise is currently comprised of disparate, antiquated, stovepiped systems and processes leaving logistics operations inefficient, costly, and vulnerable. The goal of this portfolio is to modernize the logistics IT enterprise for a more efficient, cost-effective, integrated, standardized, and resilient suite of systems. These systems will also incorporate the latest in cybersecurity measures and meet the statutory IT compliance requirements including Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR). The DAF logistics enterprise is comprised of multiple overarching functional areas to include field-level maintenance, end-to-end supply chain management, and DAF item cataloging and provisioning. The current programs within this PE include: Enhanced Technical Information Management System (ETIMS), Foundational Logistics Information Technology Enterprise System (FLITES), Supply Capability Initiative (SCI), Integrated Logistics System-Supply (ILS-S), Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS), and Field Maintenance (Field Mx). - ETIMS is the system of record for all Technical Orders (TOs) and fully integrates electronic TOs (eTOs) supporting enterprise-wide distribution and viewing along with print-on-demand services. This system supports over 178K users across 385 sites worldwide. ETIMS is set to subsume multiple systems and capabilities terminating duplicate capabilities and achieving statutory IT requirements and FIAR compliance. The development efforts for ETIMS were completed in FY2025. - FLITES provides the capability to manage comprehensive, accurate, reliable item master data (e.g., accurate identification and authorization of owners and users of items). FLITES provides item standardization and configuration management from a single authoritative source ensuring foundational logistics processes are executed in concert to support the A4 logistics baseline.

The DAF logistics enterprise is currently comprised of disparate, antiquated, stovepiped systems and processes leaving logistics operations inefficient, costly, and vulnerable. The LOGIT portfolio utilizes the Business Capability Acquisition Cycle (BCAC) process and employs Agile software development methodology in the acquisition of these programs. LOGIT supports multiple lines of effort to achieve the LOGIT objectives of FIAR and software modernizations. Agile development, continuous integration, and deployment are preferred methodologies that will be employed to the greatest extent possible to achieve maximum flexibility and cyber-resiliency while employing an appropriate mix of contractor and government personnel.
